Dewar’s Distillery, located in Aberfeldy in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, is a renowned whisky distillery with over 170 years of history. It was founded in 1846 by John Dewar Sr. and has since developed into one of the world’s leading and most appreciated whisky brands.
Dewar’s 8 Years Caribbean Smooth is produced using traditional Scottish methods and is characterised by a special maturation process that gives it its unmistakable character. After careful selection of the barley, the process begins with milling, followed by fermentation and distillation, before the whisky is finished in high-quality rum casks.
Maturation in these specially selected casks for at least eight years ensures a harmonious combination of sweet and spicy notes that give the whisky its characteristic flavours.
