The Deanston 12 Years Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a traditional bottling from the distillery of the same name, which is located in a former cotton mill on the River Teith in the Scottish Highlands. Since its foundation in 1966, the Deanston Distillery has focussed on an authentic production method that combines regional raw materials, traditional craftsmanship and natural maturation.
This single malt Scotch whisky matures for at least 12 years in American oak casks that were previously filled with bourbon. This cask maturation gives it its round, balanced character with notes of honey, malt and spices. It is bottled at 46.3% vol. without chill-filtration and without colouring, which preserves its naturalness and purity. Supplied in a stylish gift box, it is an ideal companion for connoisseurs and aficionados of Highland whiskies.

Nose: Rounded and harmonious with heather honey, creamy caramel, vanilla, sweet oak and subtle notes of citrus and gingerbread.
Flavour: Soft, round and creamy with vanilla, heather honey, sweet oak, citrus and a sweet malt note.
Finish: Satisfying, clean and dry with honeyed fruit and spicy gingerbread.
The Deanston 12 Years Old is suitable neat at room temperature or on ice to fully develop its natural sweetness and flavour. It is an excellent accompaniment to strong cheeses, roasted nuts or desserts with honey and caramel. It also works well as an elegant companion in classic whisky cocktails such as a whisky sour or old fashioned, where its mild honey sweetness comes into its own.
