This exclusive bottling pays homage to the opulent dessert culture of France – inspired by the classic crème brûlée, whose sweet vanilla notes, creamy texture and fine caramel accents are reflected in this whisky in a fascinating way.
The Brûlée Royale is a skilfully composed blended malt Scotch whisky made from selected single malts from renowned Scottish distilleries. One part matured in first-fill bourbon casks, another in white wine and dessert wine casks, which gives it its seductively creamy, complex profile. At 49% vol., it was bottled in Natural Strength, i.e. without chill filtration and without colouring – an authentic expression of Compass Box’s philosophy.
