Ciemme Limoncello is a high-quality Italian lemon liqueur with a strong alcohol content of 34% by volume, which makes it more intense and flavoursome than many conventional limoncellos. Produced according to a traditional Italian recipe, this limoncello is based on the slow maceration of hand-picked lemon peel in alcohol. Only the best sun-kissed lemons from southern Italy are used, which are rich in essential oils and give the liqueur its intense, fresh flavour.
The higher alcohol strength sets Ciemme Limoncello apart from other lemon liqueurs, as it offers a particularly distinctive balance between fruity sweetness and natural citrus freshness. Ciemme Limoncello is traditionally served ice cold, ideally straight from the freezer, to bring out its flavours perfectly. As well as being enjoyed on its own, it is ideal as a base for summer drinks such as the Limoncello Spritz with Prosecco and soda or as a fresh component in cocktails. This lemon liqueur can also be used in the kitchen – whether in desserts such as tiramisu, lemon sorbets or as an aromatic refinement for cakes and pastries.
