Champagne Bollinger ROSÉ Brut 12% ABV 0.75l
£91.26
The Bollinger Champagne ROSÉ Brut 12% vol. in a 0.75 l bottle embodies the unmistakable signature of the long-established Champagne Bollinger house and combines elegance, precision and expressiveness in an exceptional rosé cuvée. Since its launch in 2008, this champagne has epitomised the Maison’s uncompromising commitment to quality and is vinified predominantly from Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. A large proportion of the Pinot Noir grapes come from the renowned vineyards of Poirier, Saint-Pierre and Montboeuf in Verzenay, which are tended with the same care as the famous single vineyard La Côte aux Enfants.
The blend comprises 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay and 14% Pinot Meunier. It is complemented by 5 to 6% red wine, which gives the champagne its characteristic colour and additional aromatic depth. Following vinification, the Bollinger Rosé Brut matures in the cellar for more than twice as long as required by the Champagne appellation regulations. With a dosage of 7–8 g/l, this rosé champagne is harmonious, precise and superbly balanced. The result is an elegant champagne with remarkable complexity, a fine structure and the depth typical of Champagne Bollinger, which is equally impressive as an aperitif and as a versatile accompaniment to food.
Tasting NoteIn the glass, Champagne Bollinger ROSÉ Brut presents an elegant rosé hue with delicate golden highlights and a delicate, persistent perlage. On the nose, intense aromas of redcurrants, cherries and wild strawberries unfold, accompanied by a subtle spicy note. On the palate, the champagne is lively and well-structured, with expressive flavours of wild red fruits, a delicate creaminess and superbly integrated bubbles. The finish is long, elegant and harmonious.
Champagne Bollinger ROSÉ Brut is ideal as a stylish aperitif and pairs superbly with rock lobster, lobster, salmon and fine Japanese or Asian cuisine. It also elegantly complements fruity desserts such as strawberry cake, raspberries or fruit soups. Served at a temperature of 10–12 °C, this premium rosé champagne reveals its complex aromas and exceptional finesse to the full.
