Description
Bushmills Distillery, located in picturesque County Antrim in Northern Ireland, is the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world. Its origins date back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips was granted the first licence to produce whiskey in the region. For over 400 years, the art of whiskey production has been cultivated here at Bushmills Distillery and passed down from generation to generation.
To produce this Bushmills whiskey, the triple-distilled Irish whiskey is first filled and refined in new American oak barrels. It is then finished in new American oak barrels, which gives it its unique flavour profile. This special maturation gives it an unmistakable depth and subtle notes of vanilla and wood.
