Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Sherry Cask Edition is a limited edition interpretation of the famous Classic Laddie single malt Scotch whisky from the Scottish island of Islay. This special edition has been matured exclusively in high-quality ex-sherry casks, giving it a particularly fruity, deep flavour – without the typical Islay smoke, as Bruichladdich produces unpeated whiskies. Bottled at a strong 50% vol., non-chill-filtered and in a natural colour, this edition is aimed at discerning connoisseurs and fans of sherry cask-matured single malts.
The whisky is made from Scottish barley, distilled in small batches and bottled with the utmost care at the traditional Bruichladdich Distillery on the banks of Loch Indaal. The sherry cask maturation gives this edition particularly warm, sweet and fruity notes, which combine harmoniously with the maritime freshness and floral lightness of the Classic Laddie.
