Brotginsky Gin is a unique speciality from Upper Austria that is characterised by its particularly sustainable and creative production. The basis of this extraordinary gin is dried and crushed old bread from the Aschauer bakery, which is further processed in an innovative upcycling process by Josef Farthofer, an organic distiller. This method is reminiscent of gin, but with its own creative twist. The organic distiller mashes, ferments, distils and refines the stale bread with a total of 15 different botanicals, resulting in a unique flavour. This is where traditional baking craftsmanship meets innovative distilling – a true rarity that combines sustainability with enjoyment.
This gin combines classic juniper notes with fresh herbs and a delicate citrus freshness, which together offer a harmonious and refreshing flavour experience.
