The Bladnoch distillery, which was founded in 1817, underwent several changes of ownership over the course of its history before returning to family ownership. Today, it is the southernmost active distillery in Scotland, located in the far south of the Lowlands. Although Bladnoch is one of the smaller distilleries, it impresses with an exceptional variety of high-quality whiskies.
The Bladnoch 13 Year Old from the Heritage Collection is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky that has matured for 13 years in carefully selected bourbon casks. This choice of cask gives it a harmonious combination of soft vanilla and oak flavours, which are perfectly complemented by delicate fruity notes. The Heritage Collection, which represents the rich heritage of the Bladnoch distillery, emphasises the long tradition and craftsmanship that can be felt in every drop of this whisky.
