Description
Benriach is always on the lookout for an eclectic mix of casks from around the world, selected for their exceptional character and flavours to be released into the whisky.
The casks are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated or triple distilled.
The distillery is known for its long-standing tradition and is creating a new product range at the end of 2019 that brings out the diversity and versatility of Benriach’s “orchard fruit style” even more, covering the entire spectrum of whisky flavours.
The colour palette of the gift boxes and labels is inspired by the natural surroundings of Speyside.
The Benriach 30 Years Old FOUR CASK MATURED Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from peated whisky matured for a minimum of 30 years in sherry casks, bourbon casks, oak casks and port casks from the Douro Valley. It is produced by master blender Rachel Barrie.
Tasting NoteColour: Mahogany.
Nose: Fruity, stewed plum, baked orange, smoked walnut, cinnamon, cocoa.
Flavour: Rich, full-bodied, dark fruit, honey, notes of chocolate, sultana.
Finish: Langs on the palate.
