Description

Balblair, the oldest distillery in the Northern Highlands of Scotland since 1790, is situated on a secluded hillside overlooking the Dornoch Firth. This historic distillery sits on an ancient Pictish meeting place, guarded by the mystical Clach Biorach stone, whose Z-bar mark adorns every bottle of Balblair. Balblair’s whiskies are made from the Black Isle’s finest barley and pure water, perfectly capturing the flavours of the region.

Balblair 12 Years Old Single Malt epitomises the gentle elegance of the Highlands with its fine balance of fruit, spice and sweetness. Matured in casks of American oak and double-distilled American oak, it develops an elegant complexity and warm notes. This single malt impresses with its natural colour and is not chill-filtered.
