Amaro Averna Siciliano 29% ABV 0.7 l is one of the best-known Italian herbal liqueurs and is regarded as a true icon amongst traditional amari. Since 1868, Amaro Siciliano has been produced according to a recipe that is still strictly guarded today and which dates back to Don Salvatore Averna. According to legend, he received the recipe as a special gift from the Benedictine monk Fra Girolamo, who had developed a secret blend of natural Sicilian and Mediterranean ingredients. To this day, the liqueur is produced exclusively from carefully selected herbs, roots, spices and citrus fruits, and embodies Sicily’s authentic culture of indulgence. The classic 0.7 l bottle represents over 150 years of Italian tradition and an unmistakable flavour.
With an alcohol content of 29 % vol., Amaro Averna Siciliano impresses with its harmonious balance of bittersweet herbal notes and fresh citrus aromas. As soon as the bottle is opened, intense aromas of Mediterranean herbs, oranges and lemons unfold, defining the liqueur’s distinctive character.
