Description
Auchentoshan THREE WOOD Single Malt Scotch Whisky 43% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is an elegant Lowland single malt Scotch whisky that is known for its particular smoothness and aromatic accessibility. The Auchentoshan distillery is characterised by the rare triple distillation, which gives this Scotch whisky an exceptionally smooth texture. The name Three Wood refers to the three-stage maturation: the whisky is first matured for around 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, followed by around 2 years in Oloroso sherry casks and finally around 6 months in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This combination ensures a complex balance of fruit, sweetness and spice and makes the Lowland whisky a particularly accessible bottling for beginners and experienced connoisseurs alike. It is bottled at 43%, contains colouring and comes in a high-quality gift box.
The combination of triple distillation and triple cask maturation makes Auchentoshan Three Wood harmonious and expressive at the same time. Fruity and sweet nuances take centre stage, accompanied by subtle spicy accents, creating a balanced overall profile that impresses both neat and in cocktails.

Auchentoshan Three Wood Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky goes perfectly with desserts such as crème brûlée, apple tart, nut cake or chocolate mousse, as its fruity sweetness ideally complements these flavours. It also harmonises with mature hard cheese, roasted nuts or fine patisserie creations. This Scotch whisky also works well in cocktails, for example in the uncomplicated “Bucker” made with Auchentoshan Three Wood, lemon juice and ginger ale, where its fruity and spicy nuances come into their own. We particularly recommend enjoying it neat or on ice to fully experience its aromatic depth.
