Aeijst, pronounced like “Ej-st”, is a Styrian gin whose name is derived from the dialect word for “branches”. Behind this unique gin is the Thomann family – Wolfgang, Markus, Paul, Lisa and their friend Andreas, who produce it in southern Styria. Although Styria is not traditionally known for gin, the tide is beginning to turn.
Aeijst is made exclusively from organic ingredients. Nine different botanicals are first tasted individually and then combined to create a harmonious recipe. This manual production reflects the honest conviction of the producers. The flavour of the gin is balanced and purist, but by no means simple.
This carefully composed gin offers an incomparable flavour experience that will be remembered for a long time.
