Aberlour A’Bunadh Batch No. 78 is an authentic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled at cask strength, reflecting the unadulterated craftsmanship of Aberlour Distillery in its purest form. The name “A’Bunadh” comes from the Gaelic and means “the original” – a reference to the fact that this whisky is produced using traditional methods, without chill-filtration and without colouring, just like in the old days.
Each batch bottling of A’Bunadh is unique. Batch No. 78 is matured exclusively in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, which give it its intense colour, depth and aromatic complexity. With a strong alcohol content of 60.7 % vol., this whisky presents itself at real cask strength – full-bodied, rich and intense.
