Straight from the beautiful and bustling city of Berlin, Berliner Brandstifter Vodka is made from high-quality French sugar beet and locally grown botanicals like elderberry and orris root. It is distilled five times before being filtered seven times for perfect mellow smoothness. It is made in small batches of 999 bottles and is rested for several weeks in stainless steel barrels before being bottled and numbered by hand. it has a delicate floral flavour with fruity berry notes.
Head of the Berliner Brandsitfter company and local Berliner Vincent Honrodt is following in the footsteps of his family, who have been distilling spirits since the 19th century. Their spirits are made with organic ingredients which are sourced from the local areas of Berlin and Brandenburg. Some of the botanicals even come from Berliner Brandsitfter’s own field, which is overseen by Christian Heymann, manager of the Speisegut farm in Berlin.
