Bénazet Vodka is the liquefied homage to Jacques Bénazet and his son Edouard Bénazet, two entrepreneurs whose contributions to history took place in the 19th century in Baden-Baden. They came from the south of France and left their mark of innovative visions and investment deals on the city. An example of the influence of the two is today’s Casino Baden-Baden that still presents the cosmopolitan flair of the Bénazets. Now, Bénazet Vodka can be seen as a liquid monument, with Frank Strei, Managing Director of Bénazet GmbH, working on the fusion of French and regional products. Pure spring water from the Black Forest and winter wheat from France give Bénazet Vodka the character of the chalk from the champagne region as well as the Jurassic Argonne forests and the rough slate plateaus of the Ardennes. It presents creamy and mild aromas of bright grains paired with a subtle sweetness, reminiscent of a milk dessert.
