A drink from The Mountain That Rides! From the land of Ice and Fire, we present Icelandic Mountain Vodka. The spokesman and co-owner of the brand, which was introduced in 2016, is powerhouse Hafthor Björnsson, who made his name as Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. Although Björnsson is anything but delicate – in fact, before playing The Mountain he regularly participated in the “World’s Strongest Man” competition – he nonetheless has produced a mild and elegant vodka.
Icelandic Mountain Vodka is distilled seven times, made with pure Icelandic water, and is gluten-free, with an alcohol content of 40% abv. It has a gentle, soft taste, which makes it ideal for enjoying neat or on ice.
