Ballechin 10 YO is made in the Scottish Highlands. Since 2003, the successful distillery Edradour has been producing a particularly peaty whiskey range that connoisseurs around the world certainly appreciate. Ballechin 10 YO is the first 10-year single malt, so is not considered a vintage.
A whiskey with special depth and complexity
This whiskey uses Ex Bourbon and Ex Oloroso sherry casks. The latter give it a special depth and greater complexity. Bottled at 46% alcohol without cold filtration, it preserves its true cask-character.
Powerful accents of peaty smoke meet caramel, chocolate and vanilla
As a result, Ballechin 10 YO presents itself as smoky with aromas of dark fruits, herbs and sweetness. The dominant smoke is accompanied by notes of caramel, chocolate and delicate vanilla. Powerful oak accents resonate before the finish with heavy peat smoke slowly passes.
