At Benromach 10 YO, classic strengths are already trusted during ripening. The Scotch matures widely in former bourbon casks and then finally in sherry casks. The result is impressive.

Nosing

Already optically the amber color impresses. Immediately after pouring the whisky into the glass, the aromas unfold, which clearly reveal the post-ripening in sherry barrels. In addition, there are fruity hints as well as apple, spices and a slight smoky note.

Flavor

Benromach’s 10 year old whisky also has a complex taste. The single malt is extremely full-bodied. A creamy touch gives it an additional exciting component. Especially the fruitiness remains in the memory, with berries being the dominating influence. Combined with a little malt and sherry, this results in an elegant composition that is optimally rounded off by a little smoke.

Finish

In the finish Benromach 10 YO is above all one thing: strong. The powerful and spicy influences of oak and malt dominate. In addition, the finish is long lasting.
