Auchentoshan American Oak Whisky is matured exclusively in American bourbon barrels. The result is a full-bodied Auchentoshan whisky that attracts attention with its multi-faceted aromas. Toffee and popcorn are already visible in the nose. The sweet notes of the oak barrels meet candied orange peels, which in combination with fresh lemon zest create a sparkling twist. On the palate it becomes mild and silky with coconut and toffee. The sweet spices are still there. The American Oak finish is sweet, spicy and fresh with aromas of cinnamon, lemon and grapefruit.
