Moët & Chandon Champagne ICE IMPÉRIAL Demi-Sec 12.5% vol. 0.75l
£64.66
The Moët & Chandon Champagne ICE IMPÉRIAL Demi-Sec with 12.5% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle is an innovative interpretation of sparkling wine from the traditional champagne house Moët & Chandon. As the first champagne created especially for enjoyment on ice, it combines the classic elegance of the house with a modern, summery style of enjoyment. The cuvée is based on the typical Moët grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, which contribute structure, fullness, freshness and aromatic diversity in a balanced ratio.
Its characterful demi-sec style emphasises the fruity intensity and harmonises perfectly with the slight dilution with ice cubes – a deliberately developed concept that enhances the aromatics and provides a luxurious yet refreshing champagne experience. The selection of particularly ripe reserve wines and the deliberately higher dosage create a champagne with intense fruit, fine sweetness and a summery flavour. The ICE IMPÉRIAL Demi-Sec thus displays a clear, modern character that translates the Moët style into a new, versatile form of enjoyment while remaining long-lasting on the palate thanks to its elegant structure.
Tasting NoteBrilliant golden yellow in the glass with a lively perlage. The nose reveals an intense, tropical-fruity bouquet with aromas of mango, guava, candied orange, nectarine and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the champagne is full-bodied, soft and fruity, accompanied by a harmonious sweetness and gentle freshness. The finish is smooth, aromatic and long-lasting, characterised by exotic fruit and a fine citrus nuance.
Residual sugar: 45 g/l
The ICE IMPÉRIAL Demi-Sec is ideal for summer moments, terrace evenings and festive occasions. Perfect served over ice or in combination with fresh mint, lime zest or berries. It is an excellent accompaniment to exotic fruits, citrus-based desserts, sorbet, light patisserie, savoury-sweet dishes from Asian cuisine or creamy cheese varieties. Served well chilled at 6-8 °C, it unfolds its fruity, elegant and long-lasting style.
