Tasting NoteIn the glass, the champagne is a brilliant light golden yellow colour with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose reveals aromas of green apples, white peaches and citrus fruits, accompanied by notes of fresh brioche and roasted hazelnuts. On the palate, the Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut is lively, creamy and perfectly balanced – with harmonious acidity, delicate minerality and a fine fruity finish. The finish is long, elegant and carried by a fresh, floral lightness.
Residual sugar: 9 g/litre
The Moët & Chandon Champagne Impérial Brut is a versatile companion for special occasions. Ideal as an aperitif or with fine starters such as seafood, oysters, sushi, fish tartare or goat’s cheese. It also shows its full class with light-coloured poultry and light pasta dishes. Served at 8-10 °C in a champagne glass, it unfolds its aromatic freshness and fine mousseux to optimum effect. It can be drunk between now and 2028, whereby it impresses with its lively fruit when young and develops additional depth and complexity as it matures.
