Cognac from 10 generations
With the Pierre Ferrand 10 Generations, you can expect a sophisticated Cognac that carries the expertise, knowledge and passion of 10 generations. Never before have you found a Cognac with so much family tradition. Both the taste and the appearance of the cognac reflect the passion of the distillers. The family tree on the label of the Pierre Ferrand 10 Generations Cognac reflects this perfectly. In this way, the Cognac pays tribute to its family origins and becomes a true collector’s item with this loving design.
Awards
Pierre Ferrand 10 Generations – quality in every sip. With this Cognac, you will experience what a true award-winner tastes like. The 10 Generations has already won a number of awards, including a gold medal or two – for example at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2019 and 2020 or the Cognac Masters 2019. This is probably due in no small part to the attention to detail in the production of Pierre Ferrand 10 Generations Cognac.
Production
The Pierre Ferrand 10 Generations is a blend of several Cognacs. These are matured for between 5 and 7 years and a small proportion even for 25 years. The Cognac is given a special touch by the fact that it is distilled on yeast – twice in total in a pot still. It was then stored for a long time in various barrels. These included first used Cognac barrels, then French oak barrels and finally some of the Cognac was aged in Sauternes barrels for another year.
Taste
The result of careful production and the expertise of all 10 generations is a full-bodied cognac that has many different flavor facets to offer. In addition to oak and pepper notes, there are sweet aromas of pear, honey and grapes. Orange licorice and mint give the cognac an extra fresh taste. Finally, smoke and tobacco are added to complete the taste experience. The saying “too many quivers spoil the broth” obviously does not apply to this Cognac. Because with the Pierre Ferrand 10 Generations, the distillers have conjured up a Cognac of unique quality and the finest taste.
