Description
The Bitter Truth Creole Bitters are a classic cocktail ingredient from The Bitter Truth, stylistically inspired by the historic Creole and New Orleans bitters that were an integral part of early American bar culture. Produced using an alcoholic extract of selected herbs, spices and citrus peel, these bitters are characterised by depth, spice and a distinctive aromatic profile. Bottled at 39% ABV in a 0.2-litre bottle, they are aimed at both professional bartenders and ambitious home bartenders.
Creole Bitters are characterised by their warm, spicy profile and add complexity and balance to drinks. The Bitter Truth is renowned for its historically grounded recipes and the careful selection of natural ingredients. This bottling is a versatile tool behind the bar and is particularly well-suited to classic New Orleans cocktail recipes as well as modern interpretations where depth and spice are required. Due to their concentration, the bitters are dispensed drop by drop and are therefore very economical.
