José Cuervo’s “Reserva de la Familia” bottlings embody an extraordinary tradition that dates back to 1795 and reflects the family’s rich heritage. Each bottle from this prestigious series is unique, as it is individually numbered and labelled with the date of bottling. In addition, each bottle is sealed with an authentic wax seal, guaranteeing the exclusivity and high quality of the contents.

In the heart of José Cuervo’s private cellars, the most distinguished tequila undergoes careful ageing in first-class oak barrels. These barrels, carefully selected from American and French oak, give the tequila its unique variety of flavours and depth of taste. The maturation process in these special types of wood promotes the development of complex flavours that connoisseurs particularly appreciate.

The current edition of the “Reserva de la Familia” was designed in collaboration with the English artist Melanie Smith, who is known for her lively and expressive artwork. Smith’s design adds artistic value to each bottle, emphasising the brand’s deep connection to cultural sophistication and artistic expression.
