Curado Tequila Blanco Cupreata 40% Vol. 0.7 litre is a unique tequila made from the rare cupreata agave that grows in Michoacán. To make Curado Tequila, a Blanco Tequila from the highlands of Jalisco is first used as a base. The liquid is then infused with pieces of cooked agave to enhance the flavours in a very special way. Originally, only the blue agave from Jalisco was used for the infusion, but over time the project evolved to include other agave varieties from different regions of Mexico. Curado Tequila is thus a tequila that captures not only the flavour of blue agave, but also that of regional agave varieties such as Espadín from Oaxaca and Cupreata from Michoacán, giving it a remarkable complexity. With its philosophy of “building bridges, not walls”, Curado aims to combine the cultural traditions and knowledge of Mexico’s different regions.

Curado Tequila Blanco Cupreata is made specifically from the Cupreata agave, which grows in Michoacán and is known for its complex and unique flavours. This agave is cooked according to the traditional method of the region and then brought to Jalisco, where it is infused with the best 100% Blue Weber agave tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco. The infusion process ensures a harmonious fusion of the fresh, vegetal notes of the Cupreata agave with the clear, strong base of the Blanco tequila.
