Don Julio 1942 Tequila Añejo is an exceptional spirit that embodies the essence of craftsmanship, tradition and exquisite flavour. Named after the legendary tequila pioneer Don Julio González, who had a deep-rooted passion for producing first-class tequila, this Añejo is a tribute to his legacy and commitment to the highest quality. In addition to the name, this Don Julio also bears the symbolic year “1942” in its name, which represents a history and a significant milestone in the world of tequila – this was the year Don Julio González began distilling tequilas.

Made from the best blue agaves, carefully selected and grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, Don Julio 1942 is characterised by its refined maturation. The agave hearts are slowly baked and then distilled in small batches to preserve the pure and rich flavour profile. The tequila is then matured for over two years in fine oak barrels that were previously used for maturing bourbon.
