Four Roses Bourbon is a smooth and aromatic Kentucky Straight Bourbon, known for its exceptional lightness and elegance. Its production follows a unique process: Five different yeast strains and two different grain blends are used, from which ten individual flavour profiles are developed. These are matured separately in burnt oak barrels for five to ten years before being combined to create a harmonious and balanced bourbon.
The Four Roses Distillery, founded in 1888, is one of the most traditional bourbon distilleries in the USA and stands out from other producers thanks to its innovative blending process. While many distilleries only use a few recipes, Four Roses combines ten unique mashbills to achieve a particularly fine and complex flavour. Four Roses is also characterised by its gentle distillation and long ageing period, which gives the bourbon an unmistakable smoothness and depth.

Thanks to its mild and harmonious characteristics, Four Roses Bourbon is ideal for drinking neat or on ice. It is also an ideal base for classic bourbon cocktails such as the Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour or Mint Julep. In the kitchen, it harmonises particularly well with grilled meat, BBQ specialities and dark chocolate. It also unfolds its fine flavours elegantly in combination with matured cheese or nuts.
