Glen Scotia Victoriana is a particularly expressive single malt Scotch whisky from the traditional Campbeltown distillery Glen Scotia, which is known for its powerful, maritime-influenced whiskies. This bottling is a tribute to the Victorian era – the great time of Campbeltown, when the town was regarded as the whisky capital of Scotland.
The Victoriana is produced in small batches and matured in a careful combination of American oak casks and a finish in heavily charred oak casks, which gives it its intense, deep character. It is bottled in cask strength at 54.2% vol., unfiltered and without colouring – in keeping with traditional craftsmanship.
The result is a powerful, complex whisky with elegant sweetness, subtle spice and a hint of smoke that will delight connoisseurs as well as discerning connoisseurs in search of an exceptional Campbeltown dram.
