The Octomore 14.1 matured for five years in first-fill American whiskey casks, giving it exceptional depth and complexity. During this short but intensive maturation, the whisky was able to perfectly develop the best flavours from the high-quality raw materials on which it is based. The high PPM value of 128.9 gives the Octomore 14.1 its characteristic smoky intensity, which is complemented by a subtle sweetness and oaky flavour.
