Description
Hyde Whiskey Irish Whiskey is matured in the picturesque and climatically balanced landscape of County Cork, located on the Wild Atlantic Way coast in the south-west of Ireland. This region is known for its unique microclimate, characterised by warm summers and mild winters, favoured by the warm Atlantic current. This ideal oceanic climate creates perfect conditions for the maturation of Irish HYDE whisky casks, with County Cork being one of the mildest climates in Western Europe. The balanced temperature – never too hot, never too cold – is ideal for the development of an exquisite Irish whisky.
Hyde No. 6 combines an eight-year-old, triple-distilled Irish single grain with an 18-year-old, triple-distilled Irish single malt. This unique blend is finished in ex-Oloroso sherry casks and bottled as a President’s Reserve without the addition of colouring agents and without chill-filtration. This small batch bottling is limited to 5,000 bottles worldwide, making it an exclusive pleasure experience.
