The Glen Turner TRIPLE CASK single malt Scotch whisky is a multi-layered bottling that combines the typical elegance of Speyside whiskies with a special maturation concept. This single malt is produced at the renowned Glen Moray Distillery in Glen Elgin, which is known for its accessible yet characterful whiskies. The French group La Martiniquaise distributes these bottlings worldwide under the brand name Glen Turner and highlights a particularly exciting variation with the Triple Cask.
As the name suggests, the Glen Turner TRIPLE CASK matures in three different types of cask. The main maturation takes place in classic ex-bourbon casks, which impart notes of vanilla, honey and caramel. This is complemented by ageing in sherry casks, which give the whisky additional depth, fruitiness and Werder. The maturation is rounded off with European oak casks, which contribute fine wood tones and a subtle tannin structure. This combination creates a single malt with a multi-layered flavour that clearly stands out from standard bottlings. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, it is balanced, elegant and ideal for beginners and connoisseurs alike.
