LOT No. 40 Canadian Rye Whisky is a tribute to the Canadian whisky tradition and an outstanding example of true 100% rye whisky. Produced by the renowned Hiram Walker Distillery, this premium whisky is characterised by its strong spiciness, complex depth and smooth structure.
This Canadian rye whisky is based on 100% rye and is distilled in traditional pot stills, which gives it an intense and multi-layered flavour profile. It is matured for five to nine years in new, burnt oak barrels, which gives it its characteristic balance of spice, sweetness and woody notes. The alcohol content of 43% vol. emphasises its powerful yet smooth character.

LOT No. 40 Canadian Rye Whisky is an excellent rye for pure enjoyment, but also unfolds its full potential in classic cocktails. Its rye flavour is particularly effective in Manhattan, Old Fashioned or Sazerac. In culinary terms, it harmonises ideally with grilled meat, matured cheddar or dark chocolate with sea salt. It also cuts an excellent figure as an accompaniment to smoky BBQ dishes or savoury dishes.
