The Sexton Single Malt Irish Whiskey 40% vol. 0.7 l is a modern single malt Irish whiskey that combines traditional Irish whiskey-making craftsmanship with an innovative approach. Made from 100% Irish malted barley and triple-distilled in copper pot stills, it impresses with its exceptionally smooth and balanced character. Only Oloroso sherry casks are used for maturation, lending the whisky remarkable depth and complexity even at a young age. Master Blender Alex Thomas is responsible for its distinctive style, having deliberately broken new ground to create a single malt that is both accessible and full of character. The striking hexagonal 0.7-litre bottle is inspired by the basalt columns of the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland and emphasises the whisky’s close connection to its homeland.
At 40% ABV, The Sexton Single Malt Irish Whiskey is pleasantly smooth and harmonious. Maturation in Oloroso sherry casks imparts intense fruit and nutty flavours, as well as an elegant sweetness that harmonises perfectly with the subtle woody notes. Thanks to triple distillation, the result is a particularly mild whisky that appeals to both newcomers and experienced connoisseurs alike. The whisky contains colouring, which emphasises its even, warm amber colour.
