Heaven’s Door DOUBLE BARREL WHISKEY is an exceptional American whisky with an alcohol content of 50 per cent, available in a 0.7-litre bottle. As part of the award-winning Heaven’s Door Whiskey Collection, this bottling was created in collaboration between Heaven’s Door Spirits, Bob Dylan and experienced master distillers. Three different American whiskies are combined to create a harmonious blend for this whisky. What makes it special is the subsequent ageing for over a year in hand-toasted new American oak casks (Double Barrel Ageing). This additional barrel ageing lends the whisky greater depth, complexity and a particularly intense character. Like all the brand’s bottlings, this bottle also features a motif of an iron sculpture created by Bob Dylan at his Black Buffalo Ironworks studio, thereby blending art and whisky in a unique way.
At 50% ABV, Heaven’s Door DOUBLE BARREL WHISKEY is the strongest expression in the classic Heaven’s Door range and impresses with a remarkable balance of power and elegance. The additional maturation in new, hand-toasted American oak casks intensifies the woody, vanilla and spicy notes and gives the whisky its unmistakable character.
