As part of Douglas Laing’s Remarkable Regional Malts range, it represents the ultimate distillation of the Scottish malt whisky region of Islay.
The Big Peat 12 Years Old is a small batch bottling, which is typical of Islay and offers flavours of charred oak, chimney smoke and summer tar, leading to a long finish with brown sugar, campfire ash and a real phenolic quality.
No added colouring or chill filtration.
