Deacon Distilleries and its products “Ashwa Liquors” are the result of research and development and are known for reducing the effects of alcohol consumption. Dr B. Srinivasa Amarnath started his profession as an Ayurvedic doctor in 1980, counselling alcoholic patients. With the innovative idea of giving these people something that would benefit them, Amarnath, after 30 years of research, invented Ashwa Liqueurs enriched with herbal alkaloids and processed with miracle herbs. Deacon Distilleries is the first liqueur company to focus on the production of health-promoting liqueurs.
“Deacon” translates from Scottish to mean a skilful and capable master craftsman. The Deancon therefore serves as a tribute to all master craftsmen, regardless of their profession. The whisky is an exquisite blend of smoky Speyside and peaty Islay malt whiskies, which give it its complex, rich and smoky flavours. An outstanding blend that defies traditional Scotch conventions and is particularly impressive with its complex flavour. The ornate pattern on the bottle and the iconic mascot also make this whisky special. Deacon whisky is distilled in traditional copper stills.
