The St. Kilian CLASSIC single malt whisky is the flagship of the multi-award-winning St. Kilian Distillers from Rüdenau in Lower Franconia and stands for German whisky craftsmanship at an international level. This bottling is a mild, unpeated single malt that is double distilled in original Scottish copper stills – in the style of Scottish tradition combined with German innovation.
The whisky is matured in a finely balanced combination of ex-bourbon casks and former Tennessee whiskey casks, which gives it its round, full-bodied character. The balanced selection of barrels brings out vanilla and caramel notes as well as a pleasant fruitiness and subtle oak spice. Bottled at 46% vol., non-chill-filtered and with a natural colour, the St. Kilian CLASSIC is honest, authentic and has a clearly defined aroma profile.
