The Whistler is a range of products from the Boann Distillery in Drogheda, Ireland. This whisky epitomises a remarkable craft that is as old as the written word, the whistled melody and history itself.
Launched on a fabled New Year’s Eve, The Whistler’s Core Range is deeply rooted in family tradition and history. Each bottling in the Core Range reflects the dedication and skill nurtured at Boann Distillery, offering a rich palette of flavours to delight connoisseurs and novices alike.
This bottling is characterised by triple distillation for added smoothness and a blend of 35% Irish malt and 65% Irish grain whiskey matured in two cask types. A four-year maturation in ex-bourbon casks and a 15-month finish in Calvados casks from Chateau du Breuil in Normandy give the whiskey its luxurious, creamy body with delicious apple flavours.
