Lauder’s Blended Scotch Whisky 40% Vol. 1 litre is a traditional blended Scotch with a history dating back to 1834. Originally created by Archibald Lauder in Glasgow, it won numerous international awards early on and still enjoys worldwide popularity today. It is made from a finely balanced selection of malt and grain whiskies from different Scottish regions, which are blended together to create a particularly mild and accessible flavour profile.
Its character is characterised by fruity notes, a gentle sweetness and subtle hints of wood, which are the result of maturation in oak casks. Bottled at 40 % vol., it is pleasantly balanced and is a delight both neat and in long drinks or cocktails. The large 1-litre bottle also makes it an ideal choice for social gatherings or for stocking the home bar.
