Description

The Dublin Liberties Copper Alley 10 Years Old is a premium Irish single malt whiskey that combines Dublin’s deep-rooted whiskey tradition with modern, refined maturation. Named after Dublin’s oldest cobbled street, Copper Alley, this whiskey represents the history and character of the legendary neighbourhood of The Dublin Liberties, which was once the heart of Irish whiskey production.

This 10-year matured single malt spends the majority of its maturation time in bourbon casks before receiving an exceptional finish in Oloroso sherry casks. This maturation gives it a deep fruitiness, elegant spiciness and a soft, complex structure that sets it apart from many classic Irish whiskeys.

With an alcohol content of 46% vol., this whiskey is not chill-filtered to preserve its full flavours and natural depth. The stylish gift box (GB) makes it a perfect choice for collectors and connoisseurs of high-quality Irish whiskeys, not only in terms of flavour but also visually.

Tasting NoteColour: Deep gold with copper reflections.

Nose: Aromas of dark fruits, dried apricots, vanilla and toasted oak with a fine sherry spice.

Flavour: Full-bodied and velvety with notes of caramel, honey, candied orange, dark chocolate and roasted nuts.

Finish: Long-lasting, warming and complex with a mixture of sweet sherry notes, oak spice and a hint of cinnamon.

The Copper Alley 10 Years Old is ideal for drinking neat or with a few drops of water to bring out its full flavour. It harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate, mature cheese or caramelised nuts. It also unfolds its elegant, sherry-accentuated complexity as an accompaniment to an espresso or a mild cigar.
