PUNI SOLE is an Italian single malt whisky full of character from the PUNI Distillery, the first and so far only whisky distillery in Italy. Located in the Vinschgau Valley in South Tyrol, PUNI combines the Scottish art of distilling with Italian temperament and Alpine terroir. The SOLE bottling – Italian for “sun” – symbolises maturity, warmth and Mediterranean elegance.
The whisky is made from a traditional grain blend of barley, wheat and rye, which gives it a particularly soft, harmonious basic structure. The whisky is first matured in first-fill bourbon casks and then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which give it a fruity sweetness, depth and an elegant influence from southern Spain. It is bottled at 46% vol., not chill-filtered and without colouring – for an unadulterated enjoyment experience.

Nose: Fruity and mild with notes of sultanas, vanilla, honey, dried plums, malt and sherry spice.
Taste: Round, creamy and balanced with flavours of caramel, dried fruit, fine oak, toffee and a hint of chocolate.
Finish: Medium to long, warm and harmonious with a sweet sherry flavour and a gentle spicy note.
The PUNI SOLE is ideal for pure enjoyment at room temperature, ideally in a nosing glass, in order to develop the full variety of flavours. Its complexity can also be enhanced with a few drops of water. It offers fine pairings as an accompaniment to dark chocolate, tiramisu or mild hard cheese.
