The Glen Moray Double Cask Sherry Cask Finish 40% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is an elegant single malt Scotch whisky from the traditional Glen Moray Distillery in Glen Elgin, in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside. Since 1897, the distillery has been known for its smooth, approachable whiskies, which are characterised by a high level of craftsmanship and a special selection of casks. With the Double Cask series, Glen Moray presents bottlings that gain additional depth and variety through maturation in selected casks.
This sherry cask finish first matured in classic American oak casks, which lend it soft vanilla and caramel notes, before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks. This second maturation provides additional complexity with sweet, fruity and slightly spicy flavours. Bottled at 40 % vol. and packaged in a gift box (GB), it is a perfect introduction to the world of sherry finishes and also makes a stylish gift for whisky lovers.

The Glen Moray Double Cask Sherry Cask Finish is ideal for drinking neat to experience its balanced flavours in full depth. Opened on ice or with a few drops of water, additional nuances unfold. It is an excellent culinary accompaniment to desserts such as apple pie, chocolate tart or crème brûlée. It also harmonises with mild cheese, roasted nuts or as a stylish accompaniment to a fine cigar. It can also add an elegant sherry flavour to cocktails such as an Old Fashioned.
