After more than 20 years of experience in the spirits industry, Mr Gao Long founded his distillery in the Chinese province of Hunan. Through his expertise, he selects the best raw materials and casks that best suit the regional climate to create his unique style of whiskey.
Goalong whisky is a five-year-old single malt with golden reflections, matured in bourbon barrels. Chinese single malts have established themselves as a valuable option and are experiencing increasing demand. With a specific flavour profile typical of the Hunan region, Goalong stands out as a high-quality single malt whisky that can compete with the best of its kind. Each cask is matured at the distillery in the Hunan region of south-central China.
The strong temperature fluctuations in this region favour the exchange between whisky and cask wood, accelerating maturation and imparting complex aromas from the first years of storage.
