Description
Founded in 2005 by William Wemyss, Wemyss Malts is an independent family business known for producing exceptional spirits. The distillery is located in Fife on the east coast of Scotland. The building resembles a castle and is built on ancient caves that have formed in the sea cliffs.
The “Core Collection” from Wemyss Malts comprises three finest single malts, named after the aroma and flavour they present. The Hive (the beehive), Spice King (the spice king) and Peat Chimney (the peat chimney).
The Hive bottling is a blended malt whisky that greets you with a honeyed sweetness, zesty citrus flavours and a bouquet of flowers. This zesty, sweet and well-rounded whisky is the perfect start to an adventurous exploration of flavour.

Tasting NoteColour: Copper gold.
Nose: Orange blossom, honey, hot buttered bread, malt bread, notes of golden sultanas, soft saffron.
Flavour: Spices, zesty orange peel, warm Ingwerer, honey.
Finish: Langs, clove-spiked grapefruit, hint of dry wood smoke.
Whether neat, on the rocks or old fashioned – this blended malt is always a pleasure.
