The Quiet Man AN FEAR CIUIN 12 Year Old Sherry Finished 46% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is an Irish single malt that is given a special finish in Oloroso sherry casks after 12 years of maturation in bourbon casks. The name of the whisky, “The Quiet Man” or “An Fear Ciuin” in Irish, is a tribute to John Mulgrew, a bartender who heard and saw many stories but never told them. This philosophy of the “silent observer” is reflected in the character of the whisky, which has both depth and harmony.
The 12-year-old whiskey has a balanced profile of sweet and spicy flavours, which are further refined by the finish in sherry casks. With an alcohol content of 46% vol., it is a worthy representative of Irish whiskey tradition and is suitable both for pure enjoyment and for fine cocktails.
