The Tipperary Boutique Selection RIOJA WINE Cask Release 2017 is an exceptional Irish single malt whiskey that develops an incomparable variety of flavours thanks to its maturation in carefully selected Rioja wine casks. With an alcohol content of 50% vol. and presented in a 0.7-litre bottle, it is one of the exclusive bottlings from Tipperary Distillery, which is known for its small but high-quality batches.
This single malt is made from Irish barley and distilled using traditional methods. Its special feature lies in its maturation in hand-picked Rioja wine barrels, which not only give it a unique variety of flavours, but also a deep golden colour with reddish reflections. The fruitiness and subtle tannins from the red wine barrel provide a special depth and balance that makes this whiskey a real highlight.
