The West Cork Sherry Cask Finished is an Irish single malt whiskey full of character that is produced in the independent West Cork Distillery in the county of the same name on the south coast of Ireland. Only triple-distilled single malt is used for this bottling, which is initially matured in first-fill American white oak bourbon casks. The whiskey is then given an additional finish in selected Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it a distinctive fruity and spicy flavour – a successful combination of Irish lightness and Spanish cask strength.
Bottled at 43% vol., non-chill-filtered and in its natural colour, this single malt stands for authenticity and quality. The sherry cask maturation gives it additional depth without masking the typical softness of an Irish whiskey.
