Its exceptional 18-year maturation initially takes place in ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak, allowing the whisky to develop soft vanilla and caramel notes. It is then finished in virgin oak casks, which give it additional flavour, depth and an impressive structure. The high alcohol content of 52.5% vol. underlines the intensity of its flavour profile and ensures a powerful yet harmonious enjoyment experience.
